The Gel Technology
With the gel insulated jointing kits of the SHARK line, straight and branch jointings can be carried out on single and multi-core low voltage cables up to 0,6/1 kV.
Without mixing or casting resins, the primary insulation, composed by a non-toxic insulating polymeric gel, is already crosslinked inside a plastic shell with snap closure and allows the reaccesibility of the jointing along the time.
The plastic external shells, insulating and strong, have different dimension depending on the kind of cable and jointing to do and guarantee an optimum mechanical and electrical protection.
All the models of the SHARK line are self- extinguishing and at low emission of smokes and toxic gases, for mounting in galleries and in every place with fire risk and are in conformity with the Directive Rohs 2002/95/CE.
