The Rail Series from Weidmuller is a family of products designed to provide the highest level of connection reliability between network components in the cubicle and the field.
Rail Series Outlets can be used for applications requiring termination of CAT5 or CAT6 structured copper cabling, fibre optic cabling, or even USB cables.
- Compact 22mm single module design provides high granularity and eliminates the need to install expensive multiport patch panels.
- Versions available for RJ45, USB and Fibre Optic duplex LC , SC and SCRJ in Single-mode and Multi-mode for maximum installation flexibility. All versions have the same footprint and can be mixed on the same DIN Rail.
- RJ45 versions are available as direct cable termination or maximum installation flexibility. All versions include wiring variations for TIA-A; TIA-B or ProfiNet.
- Integrated isolation switch is included on all RJ45 models to isolate or ground the cable screen preventing ground loops between the field and control cabinets.
- All RJ45 versions are fully compliant with the IEEE CAT6 standard and rated for min 750 insertions.
